Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his first and second goals for Juventus, netting twice in their 2-1 defeat of Sassuolo.
The Portuguese striker, who joined the Serie A champions from Real Madrid, took 320 minutes to break his drought in Italy before finally finding his way onto the scoresheet at the Allianz Stadium.
And he wasted no time in getting his second, netting again within 15 minutes of his opener to set Juve on the path to a fourth straight victory.
Given the wait for the man considered to be one of the modern game’s defining greats to open his tally, jubilant reactions have emerged across social media in response to Ronaldo’s double, the second of which took his career league tally to 400.
